I recently traded a tropical Pacific Island for the Pacific Northwest of the continental USA, and I now live a short walk from vineyards and an alpaca farm. Due to the miracle—or is it the curse—of modern technology, I still moonlight as a tropical marine biologist. At any given time, I can be found working in my garden with my wife and daughter…and too many cats.
